  This bust was cast in the '60s and guilted with gold, from chalkware. It is hard to find one without chips and major flaws, this one is in excellent condition with minor wear. These are wonderful little collector's items and they are perfect for marking the Children's section of your home library and I have decided to keep this one for my personal library, it makes a great conversation piece and we can actually talk out loud in my future home library! Most of them were probably made in PA where the Italians used to craft them and sell them to the Dutch Farmers.  Measures: 16" tall x 8: wide.
