A lovely reproduction of an earlier piece from another artist. This statue is in great condition with chips, cracks, etc. Crafted from clay, she is very heavy. The finish is made to look like the original iron/bronze statue. This one was made by a museum and is signed by the artist. These are desirable, many people collect them and are willing to pay for them as long as they are in good condition. Even if you find one with slight imperfections, you may be able to doctor them yourself. Finding the "Alva" stamp is a little difficult sometimes and they craft all varieties of statues, if you find one with "Alva", it will almost definitely sell, you just have to be patient. You may be able to fetch around $70.00 today. Measures;14" tall x 9" wide x 8" wide.
